Sports physiotherapy needs to be very specific and detailed and in line with the athletes’ goals to return to his/her sport in order to perform at their optimal level and prevent recurrence. Being from a sporty background I love to promote injury prevention principles, educate and provide detailed rehabilitation to get athletes back to their best as soon as possible.

Your program will comprise exercises to correct postural problems, improve strength, co- ordination and flexibility.
I have recently begun using the Physitrack exercise prescription system which allows for greater engagement of clients by viewing videos of their exercises on a mobile phone app or via email.
I also incorporate clinical pilates into many patients exercise programs. This system offers great spinal mobility and core exercises for good posture and spinal strength and is very useful for those recovering particularly from back injury or the ante-natal/post-natal patient population.
